Prepless or NO PREP Veneers

No-prep veneers can also provide beautiful results for the right candidates. Removing your outer enamel prepares the teeth for the veneers if you opted for Traditional veneers. No grinding or preparations of the tooth if you opted for prepless veneers, other than smoothening any sharp areas and corners. Moulds are made to assure proper fit. Then later on sent to ceramist. The lab prepares the porcelain veneers

3. Temporaries

Temporary veneers can be added to the teeth to allow for a more aesthetic look while the final veneers are being crafted in the lab, if you opted for Traditional veneers. As there are no preparation on Prepless Veneers, it does not require temporaries

4. Placement

Once the porcelain veneers have returned from the lab, the patient makes a 2 appointment, one is preview and final dental visit is cementation. Each veneer is bonded to it’s tooth .

5. Review

You come back in the office to double check everything. This is the time we may need to take an impression for a nightguard, if it is needed

Deep stains caused by medications, silver (amalgam) fillings or trauma to the tooth or mouth do not respond to teeth whitening.
• Dental Crowns: Crowns are comparable to porcelain veneers only they cover the entire tooth instead of the front portion. Dental crowns strengthen your tooth. Ideal if your teeth are intensively damaged
• Orthodontics: If your main concern is crooked or crowded teeth, orthodontics such as traditional braces, clear braces, or Invisalign® can give you a straightened smile. The pitfall is that orthodontic work can take anywhere from six months to several years.
